PERJURY
An illustration from pre – The No Face series which is dedicated to anonymous portraiture. The likeness of portrayed person and / or situation is expressed with the symbolic of elements that voice the individual properties, composing within the format with a mask centering the whole piece.
The Perjury portrays manners and aesthetics of modern views on truth, politics, society and western religious forces. The hands mimic the saying of „to preach water but drink wine“ and the fact that many vows are pronounced with fingers crossed behind the backs. Golden promises spoken during ceremonials are presented only to achieve the physical gold. Whatever you need to hear, you will. But also you will face the consequences of your blind choices.
